Peter J. Bauer is a computer graphics efficiency consultant and an Adjunct Faculty member at Franklin University. He is a Contributing Editor for Mac Today magazine and a columnist for Photoshop User. Pete was the Technical Editor for "Sams Teach Yourself Illustrator 9 in 24 Hours," and is currently involved in several other publishing projects. He also serves on the Help Desk for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and appeared at Photoshop World 2000 on the panel for "Stump the Experts." (He wasn't ... stumped, that is.) Tracing his involvment with computer graphics to his Army days in Germany, Pete remembers fondly those days with the Macintosh IIfx ... back when producing anything from a computer was considered a miracle and the customers were far less knowledgable (and fussy). Pete is based in Columbus, Ohio, where he lives in the historic German Village area with his wife, Professor Mary Ellen O'Connell of the Ohio State University College of Law.
